  • Description

It’s bath time, a moment when time stands still! A time that is all yours! Immersion in hot water has several benefits. This feeling of weightlessness relaxes you. Hot water helps eliminate stress, toxins and fatigue. The fragrant bath salts of the Officine perfume and enrich the water in which you plunge with new virtues. Guérande salt has been harvested in France for thousands of years. In Brittany, the monks of the Landévennec Abbey drew out the plan of the first saltpans, as we know them today as early as the 10th century. Coarse unrefined sea salt is harvested from basins designed to extract salt from seawater. Composed of sodium chloride and a high concentration of mineral salts and trace elements (iodine, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and iron), it promotes natural skin regeneration of the epidermis. Endowed with purifying and cleansing properties, these bath salts soothe irritated skin.

  • SIGNATURE SCENT

    LICHEN D’ÉCOSSE

From the valleys of the Cairngorms to the northern Highlands, clary sage and galbanum resin mingle with notes of fern, rosemary and caraway seeds. A shade of rhubarb lurks under the invigorating green scent of rain-soaked moss on the granite stones, finally warmed up by the fireplace with an accord of patchouli and tonka beans.

In its woody essence, Lichen d’Écosse, holds a Gaelic fervour, which seizes you during a getaway through the Scottish hills shrouded in mist in autumn, in a landscape of Grimm’s tales with forests of pines or birches, red moors of ferns and heather, followed by extensive lands of emerald green sprinkled with dots of yellow wild broom. Wearing this rare scent means embracing « My Heart’s in the Highlands Wherever I go », the song of 18th century Scottish hero Robert Burns.

  • How to use

Wait until the bathtub is half full before throwing in one or more handfuls of bath salts. Let them melt. The warm vapours help spread the scent. The time has come to dip in your bath. Mix a small handful of bath salt with your favourite plant oil to make an invigorating body scrub.
